Please join the International Employers Forum ("IEF") for its next European program in Brussels, Belgium. The IEF is a non-profit professional organisation dedicated to providing a forum for international HR professionals and advisors to network and exchange ideas.

The Brussels gathering will focus on Cross Border Employment issues within Europe. - This 60 min program will involve a panel of HR professionals to discuss various human resources issues related to employment, tax and employee benefits for employees who are working with Europe (both in EU countries and non-member jurisdictions).

The program will put up for discussion the various key challenges for employers who move employees across and around Europe. We will discuss tax issues, HR policy issues, and the various differences in terms of the implementation of EU directives. Handling data privacy when dealing with non-member jurisdictions will also be a component.

The presentation will also include a discussion on helping organisations that are just becoming international and the special challenges related to change when introducing a new dynamic to existing operations. The presentation will be led by a panel of speakers, but with a heavy emphasis on audience participation.

Attendees will include HR Professionals, employment, pension and tax lawyers and consultants, and recruiters. A full list of attendees (permission based) with contact information will be provided to attendees.

Most of all, at the meeting, as in all IEF events, there will be plenty of time to network, meet attendees and make connections. Integral to the event's agenda will be efforts to facilitating introductions and making contacts. IEF organizers will, on request, facilitate introductions among attendees. One major goal of the IEF is to provide a professional forum for networking and establishing contacts among those who manage and administer global employment relationships and international compliance obligations.
